It's a frustrating little aspect to the game that everyone who plays for any length of time will be familiar with. Really nothing you can do except try to avoid a twitchy mouse finger. If it happens without "mis-clicking" it could be you have a bit of a contact problem in your mouse hardware. 
A lot of players on here will, in the interest of sportsmanship and fair play, burn a rock if this happens to their opponent as it's a problem inherent to the game, not to someone's skill.
