Hi there. I've been told you need "3 dots" on your profile page to select the number of ends. I believe this is affiliated with the number of months you've been a member on the site. I'm approaching 3 months and have been at 2 dots for a while now. 

I'm curious as to how many months a person needs to play in order to finally be able to choose the number of ends for each game.

I'm dying to know the answer, as I've been waiting an eternity.
