FlyOrDie does not tell you to download a new version, as there is no new version to download. There is a new web based version though, which you can find at www.flyordie.com.

There are several ways to create a desktop shortcut, for example:
in Chrome:
 - start the game you wish to create a shortcut for
 - right click on the uppermost part, where it says "Snooker - Google Chrome"
 - select show as tab
 - then click on the small wrench in the upper right corner, select "Tools" - "Create Application Shortcut"
 - choose where you want the shortcuts
 - that's it.
You can then customize the appearance by changing the icon to anything you like.
