New here but what's the deal with only playing one end and being either up by a couple or down and leaving right away?

It's the rating system that is at the root of it. A lot of people are only interested in rating points and getting a different colour. It personally bugs me as I curl in rl and a game is 6 ends at a minimum. The rating points should only be awarded after you win a game... not an end
after each end the program ask to start a new game ,it should ask to start next end.This makes for each end a game ,confusing for players who have never played the real game
Why don't you look for opponents who have the same preference in terms of number of ends to play, and just let the players who prefer one end play amongst themselves? OP
