First, thank you for this fantastic game that is curling and thanks for the evolution of it : it's great !

I would like to give you a suggestion.

The points system should be changed... if you have a rating system, the rating system should reflect the real level of a player.

Unfortunately, it is not always the case.

Some player just play agains beginners. I have nothing against those player. They say "I can play with who I want". They are right. But when you have 300 points and you play a 0-rating player, a win shouldn't earn you any point. (win without risk is to triumph without glory).

It would be easy to have a new rule in the rating system : more than 200 points difference = no points in game... (200 is a lot in curling game where the best are about 370),

We will see if the player that are here concern will always "teach" the beginners

swissgirl seems to be confused on this topic when a high rater players a low rater and looses the end he looses more than he would loose if played a player that also is a high rater . low raters should play high raters but most high raters wont play low raters because they loose to many ratings if they loose . So then enter tournaments were they half to play low raters.The top ten list doesnt reflect an accurate profile of a players ability most high raters play only two ends and then run with a win .The top ten list only reflects the wins not the rating .Two ends is not a game a game is 8 or 10 ends 

i only disagree with you on one point mj moose 8 or 10 ends takes too long for my liking. I like to play 4 end games and figure thats enough to be a fair contest. I also feel hat the "zero heroes are not playing to enjoy the competition they are there only to earn cheap point. These guys never play anyone close to their own rating.

pordon please 8 or 10 ends is a OFFICIAL game depending on what is being played wemans mens worlds or olympics 

"takeur is listed in the top 20 player ratings at 11th spot and yet he never plays anyone with a rating higher than 50.
How can anyone take the list seriously when this is allowed to happen????? Operator please comment.

Labanmus is number 2 on the top 20 list, and only plays ~0 rating people. Takeur isn't that bad when you consider him.

I think whoever challenges should start first. There is an advantage to throwing last and add to this the difference in skill level gives more weight tothe zero hero. If tyey always had to throw first then it might cut down on some of them.
