Its a decent game but its froze on me 5 times already. :|

What happened to the thing they introduced a while back which allowed us to sign up and try beta versions of the game before they are released. Bugs like the ones people are experiencing could have been sorted before the official release.

I've played 5 games so far and 2 of them have frozen after entering the game! :|

Try talking to the bosses about it Chris, they've been in there quite often but can you get a single word out of em? Ill let you answer that one ;)

Tell a lie...i was playing camenzind yesterday who's one of the bosses and he beat me, i wasnt sure of the rules so asked him how he won and i got a stern 'read the rules' reply :D

I played a fair few games yesterday, 20odd games against the same person, the game didn't freeze on me once but I did get disconnected twice.

It's not a bad game I suppose but not sure if I'll be playing much more of it.

In my case it tends to freeze when you challenge someone else in the lobby and the game loads, I've yet to see it freeze mid game or when I have a rematch with the same person.

It is sometimes happening as regularly as every other game which is starting to get annoying ...

I like this, its not too bad.

The game is a bit comedic, to say the least.

Enjoyable for a few minutes, though.

If u just lost ur first games and u have realised that u cant compete with other curling players, doesnt mean this game is bad.

There needs to be some sort of system where it isn't just random who goes first...

I've played a few games and when I've gone first the other player just keeps knocking mine out one after the other, they of course have the last shot which gives them a huge advantage. In one match I tried to do a more tactical game where I placed a few stones away from the centre but the player continued to knock them out of the way leaving him with an easy shot to win at the end! :|

There should be some sort of system where at the start of a game each player throws one stone, closest to the middle chooses whether to go first or second. The game does seem to be biased towards the person going second as all you need to do is get the closest to the middle on the last shot and the game is finished (And a lot of the time the player leaves, presumably because they don't want to throw first in a new game :p).

put your first two stones in the free guard zone, then they cannot be knocked out by the first 2 stones of the other player.

Hmm interesting thanks for that OP. I did a quick check of the rules just now and it seems that will help a little when I try the more tactical stuff :p

I do still think that the player throwing second does have an advantage (Last shot) but this sort of rule definately helps somewhat to try and minimise it.

alot of good games come with easy rules and easy play but you add strategy yourself that makes a game great to play, i love the game, i just hope they will sort this freezing out so i can play it as i have done in the past..
