A lot of good players are bored of this site coz they got  crown easily (jay for example).

only reason site still has as many people is cos chess numbers have increased greatly

only reason fod is going downhill is cuz moderators are banning people for almost anything and they ban non subscribers for saying stuff like "noob" and they treat non subscribers like trash some1 i know had a nick with 740 points in 8ball and got perm banned for calling some1 a noob i doubt they would do that to a subscriber

The game is far too boring for me now. I tried a few weeks ago to get back into it, and just did not last long at all. It got to the point where I wasn't even trying in my games, and I almost always try my best at anything I do (sounds a bit sad I know).

It's probably that most other decent players from the past couple of years feel the same and left due to being too bored, leaving players like me (and obviously others) with no decent challenge, and this cycle will just repeat itself until there's no one left. Of course there are always exceptions to the rule and some people simply will never stop playing.

However I for one WILL come back if there was ever English Pool or Rotation. So I agree it's about time someone listened. Ultimately what's the point in even having this forum when hardly anything of note actually happens, despite numerous requests?

To be fair, I'm only playing because I'm at work. 
And during that time I hardly play and usually time out.
I still sub, but that's due to me not being able to play on browser at work.

I'll be back to try again one day - hopefully, when some new blood comes along!

It depends what moderator it is. They act differently. Some have different views on different words, capitals and the way some of the people speak.

Would be nice to warn them but than they probably have to do it over 100 times a day anyway.

If you call someone a noob in my eyes you deserve a ban as your insulting someone, not a permanent one just a 3 day one or a demerit even, i agree about non-subscribers get Perm banned for next to nothing which is wrong but thats how Fod do it and they wont change it, Harsh but gotta put up with it.

I cant believe how bad this site is actually run, i sent Fod an email 8 days ago, it wasn't a very large one but it had a few questions that i feel Fod should be answering and have i got a reply? No, as expected so i emailed them last night again, im gonna give it 2 days then make a large post in the forum with the email i sent to them and see how long it is before they sweep it up.

Scotty did you send the email to support or to OP himself? I've sent one or two emails to him in the past and he has replied (Albeit in a very general way). If you did, do what you said you would and post it in the forum, I know I would be interested by what you have to say - you always put in a good logical debate ;)

I laughed at that :p But to be fair to him, he's one of the only people with "status" who speaks Magyar so I applaud him for maintaining that part of the forum... it is a shame though that he seems to be checking the rest of this forum even less than he did a year or so ago (Or it may be that he replies less than he used to, certain moderators have told me that he 

does

 check the forum regularly.. it would be nice to see some evidence of this though ;)).
