Nope, its called the "european championship" tourney because its going to be under this seasons european football championship.

80 players - Qualifyer
40 players - 8 groups of 5. Top 2 go through.
16 players - knockout from here

There should be links from the tskr site soon. Either way I wanted to do this cos i missed out on the snooker tourney that pot ran earlier in the year. So please don't take this offensively at all... but i think there should be more than one a year.

For anyone thats criticised me for "copying" pot, its hardly a unique idea is it? I discussed doing a tournament like this before i left at christmas.

I want to play, where and how do I sign up?

Soon I'll be advertising the tournament properly. We shall definitely get the minimum of 40 for sure. I'm still hoping we can get 80 but I think a figure of around 60 is probably more accurate.
