Connect 4
In Connect 4 there is a trick which allows you to nearly always start as red. Those that know about it will play one game as red then run. It's a quick and easy way to get points.

I don't know how it is done but I can see that it is true. I can give you the names of grand masters who do it so you can see it for yourself. Watch the list of tables and they will consistently play red several times in a row. Look at their past games and you will see a history of 1 - 0 wins. Their stats will be nearly 100%.

I've spoken to a moderator about this once. He was convinced it was random and 50 - 50. I've never seen official acknowledgement that it is possible. Can flyordie investigate this and fix the bug? It will make the rankings more honest.

I have heart about this as well.
Personaly I do not believe this, I think its just a matter of luck.
When I asked the moderator he dismissed it too. There is something to this. I'd like to find out if it is true or not.

There is one guy who bucks the odds in a big way. I've played him over a period of months and his run is staggering. It's been going on before I had heard about always being red. I used to think the odds were weighted in favour of the higher ranked player. The names I have are probably all the same person. I've only worked this out recently from following the forums.

I've heard rumours that the opera browser helps when you are being challenged. But this guy does the challenging.
I know how to get red, it's just like 75% tho..., Idc anyways, I play for fun. Look at the monthly where I am 315!!! That's when I play all the grandmasters and got red, and ran. But that was a long time ago... I don't see anyone getting a red a lot.

But FlyOrDie can't stop these bugs... it's impossible.
