Dear Moderators
how long
I have sign up to be a mod now for at least 5 weeks. IF any1 can tell me how long it takes untill they will send a reply back.
Moderator applications are not replied to unless you are accepted. There simply is not enough time to reply to every one of them. -RTD
Isn't that what he said?
Moderator applications are not replied to unless you are accepted.

well i no thats what he said i just wana no if they do expect me how long will it take for them to reply back.
Flyordie gets thousands which is probably a huge overstatment but they get Moderator reuqests in daily. So there really is exact time from your submission being submitted and them looking at it. Could be anywhere from 1 minute prior to submitting it or could be days/weeks. All depends when a Mod checks them.
And If you even think about applying for a Moderator I suggest you get used to going on forums regularly. But thats just an opinion.
It will take as long as it needs to ;) They won't reply back if you don't get the moderator position, you have to sit and wait on it. I assume they accept a moderator application when they need another moderator meaning as βάяқ αт тнέ мσσй said, this could be anytime from now until months ahead.
ya kno 2 save all this i wanna be a mod rubbish..why dont fod put a notice in wen theres a position coming up
i understamd what trig to say.If they do want you if could be months for them to reply back.just wait and see what happens;)
It just depends how long a peice of string is. Because,if the price of eggs go up then you have no chance. But then again,if the price of petrol comes down on the same night there is a blue moon, then your laughing all the way to the bank. If you need anymore clarification, you should book in with your local psychiatrist ,for a double sesion, for the next five years. ;)
as mods are volunteers, you would think fod would just 'hire' most people who apply to be a mod. however, i believe they do get the account subscribed, so in effect, fod does give a little bit to a mod. >why dont fod put a notice in wen theres a position coming up they do... i've seen it. there was a request that came out for people who spoke any of a certain list of languages, which i can only assume meant they didn't have mods who spoke those languages. i'd guess they're rarely in 'need' of mods other than due to language restrictions... so when people apply, they probably decide if the new application overlaps with existing mods in terms of times/games played, languages spoken, etc... and if the application meets the requirements of age, clean record, and playing for at least a year. and like others have said... they probably get a fair number of applications, so don't reply to them all, only to those who are accepted. your best bet? i'd say be fluent in a language that has a decent population here, but doesn't have any mods :p --jason
i've seen it. there was a request that came out for people who spoke any of a certain list of languages, which i can only assume meant they didn't have mods who spoke those languages
What happened was FOD were looking for people of different languages to review and translate some words, not become moderators.
