Someone posted a perfectly reasonable question that moderators could surely answer, a couple of pointless replies follow (amongst a couple decent ones), his question doesn't get answered... Sounds familiar, is there even any point of a Dear Moderators section?

And I am going to defend Danny here, I agree she made a pointless reply but no more pointless than a couple of the replies that followed. Including this one.

We cannot give you an answer yet because we dont have one ourselves.

And the :( was for unnecessary insults.  Thought that would be hint enough.
