Banned for asking something?
Hi, i was in pool and i asked a moderator about a old name of mine that was banned i think 2 YEARS ago for DEMERIT ENVASION. I didnt really understand he said "are u on ban envasion?" i said no? he didnt even give me a chance to explain? he just banned me permantly? Why? I find this so unfair?
If you have a nickname that was permanently banned 2 years ago, then technically making a new name now would still be ban evasion.
but it was 2 YEARS ago?!
technically, ban evasion. but really... if it's a full 2 years that you've been gone, most mods would give you a fresh start and another chance. maybe the mod checked in on your history, and it was such that you shouldn't be given another chance, or maybe there was a misunderstanding and they thought you said 2 days or weeks ago or something... or any number of other possibilities.
long story short... technically, perm ban means never on this site again. but often even then, most mods will let you go after a while.

lol do u know how stupid u all sound basically if u get a dermiert and then u go online with other names and they get permed when the demierts up u cant use that name?
the op should fix that problem but doesnt and that bothers me alot
>lol do u know how stupid u all sound

Who is that aimed at :|

If you have been permanently banned on a nickname, any nickname you go on after that can be banned for ban evasion.

As Jason said, whether this is always the case is debatable, as people have been given a 'second chance' on occasions.

I don't understand exactly what your question was, my interpretation is that you're asking

If you have a name that has a demerit and you make another name and that gets permanentely banned, then does that mean you can't go on your original name when the demerit runs out?

If that's what you were trying to ask "The Balla" then yes, you cannot go on that name (Well you can but you might be banned for ban evasion), which doesn't need fixing as it isn't a problem, it's the system here.

If you meant something else then feel free to correct the question ;)
its not a question sir its a statement if you have a dermiert and lets just say its for 1 week in that week u make a new name that new name gets dermiert evasion and permed. then the other name should be permed? that doesnt make sence to me and that should be fixed.
even if that wasnt done in this situation it has been done just becasue the names were unsubed.

Do you even have any understanding of basic English, your own language?

If. You. Have. Been. Permed. Before. , . Even. If. It. Was. Ages. And. Ages. Ago. , . Any. New. Name. You. Make. Can. Still. Be. Banned. Permanently. Regardless. Of. Whether. Or. Not. You. Have. A. Current. Name. Banned. Or. Demerited. Ok?

It really should not be difficult to understand what this means.
Sorry for the misunderstanding then, normally when I see a question mark at the end of a sentence it indicates it's a question rather than a statement, unless of course it was intentionally rhetorical.

I still don't understand fully your point, are you saying it's not right that the other name is banned or that FOD isn't banning people and that should be fixed?
If one name is temporarily banned OR Demerited then ANY name you use during that ban/demerit can be permanently banned.

When the temporary ban runs out, you can continue playing again on your original name(s). However, any name banned for evasion will NOT be restored.

In your case D-dog, you have names that are permanently banned for reasons other than ban evasion. This means that ALL names you login or create since that ban can be removed by the moderators and/or FlyOrDie admins (regardless of the subscription status of those names).
Well theres another problem as well, it isnt just me who plays flyordie.. as another member of my family (Not saying the username) goes on flyordie got a demerit for "Secondry nick to avoid ban" ? what is that about? and i get in trouble for it? what mods dont see is that its not only me who uses flyordie it is others..? So mods can you please stop banning other members
Someone in your house must take responsability for the use of your computer.
If the comp is used irresponsably, then the comp is banned, simple.

;)
>another member of my family (Not saying the username) goes on flyordie got a demerit for "Secondry nick to avoid ban" ? what is that about? and i get in trouble for it? what mods dont see is that its not only me who uses flyordie it is others..? So mods can you please stop banning other members

mods can check the IP (a number that identifies your computer) of any account that logs in, i believe. if the "other member of your family" were to use FOD harmlessly, mods would have no way of knowing there was a connection between you and them, unless they (or someone else who tells a mod) knew the connection between you two... at least i believe they don't constantly run ip's of all accounts and check against banned or demeritted accounts (though i have known some mods to check the next few accounts to sign in immediately after they ban/demerit someone). alternatively, if the "other member of your family" signs in and starts complaining about how unfair your ban was... how's a mod to tell the difference between that, and you signing into another of your (or your family member's) accounts, pretending to be someone else? it would seem awefully suspicious to me.

but like it has been said already, someone should be responsible for the computer in your house. if someone's in trouble on FOD, others should be careful as well. afterall, it's that whole "all accounts that login on the same computer bring up the same ip address" thing that'll cause problems.
