Connection to server breaking every 2 min
I recently got cable connection and since then I can't play the chess game. The server connection breaks every 2 minutes or less. When I had DSL there was no problem. Is it due to the cable internet or some settings? Any help is really appreciated. Thanks.

That sounds like your new provider has router issues.

I also am losing connection for short periods of time. then it will reconnect right after it drops. i'm connected through wireless connection and my signal strength is very good. I don't think this is from losing signal could this be anything on your end?
the chess rooms are often the most filled throughout the entire site, having more CPU always helps in this case and the more memory you have the better
i have DSL and have no problems anywhere buh lately here i have lost connections repeatedly and whatever it is now i wonder...heres what i mean, when i pull up flyordie Gomoku room...it says cannot find
i can be ooon the site and still it cannot find...i make it thru the mess at first by clicking on More Gomoku and playing... are the cookies such that they can redirect a persons connection? if so i think that should be stopped as that is slightly More than an identifier of ones activities on the internet. IMHO
Cookies won't cause your connection to drop, a bad connection to a router/server/cable/hub however will. What it comes down to is it more than likely isn't FoD as other people play just fine, more than likely it's a bad router somewhere along your route to FoD or a bad server/cable/hub and a lot of other things affect your connection...so it is hard to say if it's FoD or not, just trial and error.
What speed is your router and is it only one wire going to the line from the router?
