Yeah, i've had this disconnection thing happen twice today playing chess. Nothing like getting into a half hour+ match only to have it stall out and disconnect. My internet connection is fine, so wondering what the problem is maintaining a connection. Call me suspicious, but it only seems to be happening when I'm winning. Like my opponent can smell defeat, so they stall it out somehow, because not only is it a disconnect, it counts as a loss against me. That I do not understand. If the server can recognize it as a disconnect, then why does that count as a win for my opponent and a loss for me? Hardly seems fair. Not to mention a complete waste of time that makes playing on this site pointless if it can't maintain a connection. Played here for a week or so with no problems until last night/today. Anybody?....

Do a tracert to insure that it is not your connection-> Go to Start and click on Run, now type in 'tracert flyordie.com' without the quotes this will tell you every computer you hit on your way to flyordie through your connection. It has been suggested before for the server to recognize a disconnect and not award points to either player however it would be hard to distinguish a true disconnect and a player just disconnecting because they are losing, would be nice for at least a time frame for the opponent to return and if the player stuck at the table the game could continue (I.E. If the player left the table after the d/c then no points awarded to either player). And disconnects always happen when your winning, Murphy's Law at it's best :p
I know what you mean, you're not alone! Another thing thats anoying; Everytime the Navigon show up it stalls the game, thats no good PR for a thing that's suppose to make it easyer to concentrate on more important things as playing the game or driving your car! All those problems became much more often since the yahoo was involved!

For what I cry money?! Why communication with a server constantly breaks. All other Internet works perfectly and only communication with a server flyordie breaks, but in some seconds I again can enter into new game and after several minutes again breakage... Thus ping gs1.flyordie.com shows that communication is... Why when communication breaks to me defeat is set off?! It is I fault!!!
Happent 2 me 2 many many times,dont know why.My connection is ok,my computer also. It is a mistery...
