I play a guy called [name removed] today and the score is 32-25 in his favour with him to pot the black for win. Can anyone explain why he won the game by letting the 25 secs run before hitting a difficult black. If he fails to hit his shot on time and get fouled for 4 points then that makes it 32-29 in his favour and my turn can win the game if i pot. Total and complete madness!! this site is becoming a joke. Is it common knowledge to everyone barr me that this can result in a win for the other player by doing this?
your saying he never played a shot and won ?......sounds like total madness to me
Something to do with "foul on the black ball at the end of the game ends it" rule?
Thanks for this post. I have passed this issue through to the FoD-staff.
thankyou for replying to this post Mervin, i didnt expect anyone to take notice really. I thought i would post it though, just incase it is a bug or sumthing. It would be interesting to play out such a game to see if it re-occurs again.
Same happened to me few week ago and yesterday its wrong and needs to be sorted.
Now it seems possible for a player too pot red then yellow at same time and not get foul against him, lol. What is going on with this game?
in real snooker if u r on the black and your opponent needs snookers to win then u can call frame which means u dont have to pot the black but u can end the frame there and then i think what u r refering to is on the game in flyordie instead of calling frame u foul to have the same effect which speeds up the game of snooker i am right ne replies to clarify my point are welcome but i love snooker and watch it often so no the rules inside out
also a foul at this point would be 7 points and not 4
hi hop ... it has happened to me several times ... there is a way players can win by timing out ... the 1's who know it abuse it ... sry i cant tell you how it works because i dont know
Thankyou everyone for your posts, dave your post is a bit confusing m8! but what i can make from it, is u seem to think i needed snookers for the game and that wasnt the case, but thankyou for your input. And yes it would have been 7 points rather than 4, ty for that.

I feel there are flaws in the game at the moment and they ain't always been there. I know bugs and stuff can do these sort of things. And i want to make it clear too anyone who doesn't know me here, i aint a bad loser and i aint criticising the site.

And a big shout to the people who abuse the flaws, well done people really impressive! Lol, the guy who potted red and yellow at same time continued to clear a remarkable break of 56, good player as well.
its happened to me, thats why on the black i pot white to stop people timing me out
no i am right you were 10 points behind and potting the black would have left you three points behind so you did require snookers and in the real game if snookers are required and you are on the black it is game over. Because there is no other balls to snooker behind so the game would turn into a big safety match will will drag the frame out until someone flukes the black
Dave m8, the score was 32 to him an 25 to me. He left a very difficult black to win the game by timing himself out, now i hav timed out before and others too, but you can always see the player moving the cue in such a case! which did not happen in this event.

Now it could have been a honest time out and i can't prove other wise, my point was to bring it to fod attention because it still needs looked at.

Maths part for Daves benefit, subract 25 from 32 and u get 7! that means i can tie the game for black ball finish. Thus he never took the shot leaving us level, but that didnt happen, he won the game at that point.
i can only take your word for the score if u are right then it is a glitch but wat i am saying is right about snookers needed on the black and as score leaves after game finishes you could have remembered it wrong!!
