When a forum requires mod approval before your post is added, often times the posts are edited, or responded to by the moderation team. The editing I have no issue with. That is how it should be, and the mods put right on there that they edited. The responses on the other hand, in my opinion are done wrong. If it is in response to a comment or question, or just an added note the mod wants in there, they should post it seperately. My post is my post. Rarely do mine need to be edited, I know the basic rules for posting. I feel crowded and disrespected when a mod decides it's easier for them to simply edit mine then to click the extra button or two and have a post of their own. Also, sometimes it becomes difficult to determine if a post has been edited for content or if the post at the bottom is the mods words. Thank you for listening to my rant. :p TeT

Pffffffffffffft LOL when I respond to a post within a post I always enclose my comments with <<<<<<<<<<< like this >>>>>>>>>. This is much easier to see that it is my comments. Also sometime there are many posts to check and something you wouldn't know is this is done from an entirely different page than the forum. It is not done within the forum pages you see, another site altogether.

It has nothing to do with the initial post, but then neither do your two posts. It wasn't flaming, or nonsense, it wasn't rude, therefore, not spam. And if you have a hard time understanding the english language, I suggest you run a search online for a dictionary :) TeT
Oh god I never thought you wouldn't understand the joke!!! I wrote the edited part, you don't have to be a mod to write the word edited! Thats why I wrote in brackets underneath to make it a bit more obvious!
Rise, it was funny, but I caution anyone about impersonating a mod in anyway. That wasn't your intention and to the best of my knowlege this is the first time someone has done it that way, but from now on that will be a serious offense. Peter, to me spam means total nonsense. Since I was involved in this thread it was just a greeting to me. It is called communication. Just as a RL conversation does at times drift from it's first focus as long as it is connected in some way it is communication.

Now 12k that made no sense for several reasons. This thread is proof that people are posting and talking with out censorship because they are behaving. Also FOD is a private enterprise and freedom of speech doesn't apply, the site is theirs and they can do what they wish. Third, this isn't the USA this is the international community of FOD. Fourth that "thought" you expressed doesn't even follow the line of conversation in this thread.

LadyDie...I know fod is a private owned business. The reason i posted that is because Davemeister said "Why wont Flyordie try to reason with us as to allow free speach?" That post got deleted.
