i need money people....................
hello my name is icesome and i need money so if you are a nice person and can loan me 100k i will give you so much respect and you can kill me at any time
You will soon find that one of the things Larkonians hate most is a beggar.

Instead of asking others to give up their hard earned money, take it upon yourself, take some responsibility in your game. If you had read the help section and the new players guide, you would know the best thing for you to do is buy a shovel and dig. I assume you saw this, as it seems you went searching the forum. By the way, that post was 7 months old and I doubt Yellow Dragon is as yet giving out free money.

My advice to you...don't ask others to do for you what you will not do for yourself. We all started at level one, dead, and our money gone.

TeT
I'll give you 100K.... Someone gave me a lot more than that without me even asking...If you see me in chat drop me a PM...

TeT is right though some people get bent when you ask for money.
can we all have 100k missedme?

cos i dont know what this guy has done to deserve your hard earned silvers.
Didn't you see his other post? He's going to be a clan leader!!!

Love that. One post commanding armies, the next begging for scraps.

JCD
Randome act of kindness I guess Mage. It was done for me...just returning the love
Well, Trevor, the class seems to think that you've come up with an overly-utopian idea.

Sandy
I have been informed "Ice" was very rude in Chat. He should understand that Larkinor is a game, as well as a community. So, sorry partner no money for you. Maybe if you change your ways. Apologize in chat would be a first step, I'll find out trust me.

Utopia's are made not given Sandy...I agree with you. However, sometimes part of making a Utopia is giving, just my opinion. I have no problem giving another character some money. Just like I have no problem making a weapon, or lowering its price to help out. When money was given to me early in the game I learned a lesson. That lesson was what seems like a bunch of money doesnt last long. From that I discovered the best thing to do is earn money myself because I'm no begger. Matter of fact I started reading your site in more detail to become a better player. I should check into players a bit better before chiming is the lesson of this post.

My fault is assuming all players are of the same character....another lesson learned. I havent been playing all that long but I'm a team member, sometimes a team player. What I wont tolerate is rudness to the team.
I think EVERY new player should earn his/her own way. It's the nature of the game. Once someone has established his/herself, then I think it is reasonable to help a player. Giving someone money is not solving the problem (not a sociological philosophy, I'm just discussing this game), else s/he will never learn how to play the game correctly. Most likely, this will culminate in the person quitting the game since s/he doesn't really appreciate it.

JCD
And come on, icesome never even said please in his or her (unsure of the correct pronoun) request for money!

MissedMe,

The quote I gave above (from the movie [url=
http://payitforward.warnerbros.com/Pay_It_Forward/
]Pay It Forward
/url]), was my interpretation of the responses you received to your initial offer to help.

I'm all in favour of veterans helping out noobs. I can't even remember the number of people I've helped out, nor the amount of money spent doing so, but both numbers are significantly large. I do know that a bunch of those people are still around and we've been on friendly terms ever since.

So I say nay to the naysayers, that's what I say. Nay!

Sandy
I'll have to see "Pay It Forward" I meant to but never did. That's with Kevin Spacey and that kid who could see dead people? I've got the "Blockbuster On-Line" maybe I'll throw in on there

Anyway Sandy I know you're good people. Just the fact your responding in a constructive way says volumes about you.
somehow, i don't remember any "seeing dead people" in pay it forward. not a scary movie... more of a based-on-a-true-store movie, about how a boy in school did a project where he did kind acts to 3 people, and asked each of them to "pay it forward" to 3 more people, etc. but if this doesn't sound as interesting, and the other will make you watch it, we can pretend there's seeing dead people :p it's a good movie, you should watch it.

I'm pretty bad with movie-star, and movie names. I dont know the name of the kid but he was also in that movie with Bruce Willis. The one where the kid can see the dead. I already threw "Pay It Forward" on my que on Blockbuster On-line. I'll let you know how I liked it :)
