The fact that you've stated that another of your names gets banned isn't a good sign. Maybe it was the other member's first offence. I've had names removed for minor reasons because I was always getting banned. Grow up and don't insult people and lookie, you won't get banned.

Just a thought.

When you join the site, you are required to read the rules and tick a box saying you have done so and agree to them.

When you subscribe a name, you have to do it again.

Being a subscriber gives you extra features only. It does NOT mean you can break the rules constantly and not get banned for it.

Your language in that op was so bad that you had to intentionally bypass the language filter just to type it, resulting in your ban.

by the way i think B1 should be banned for ban avasion he was on all morning today :p He call me a brown noser to the mod's, just for the record B1 i like my name so i keep my nose clean m8 ;)

i put in ap to become a mod becoz we need one in reversi there is a buse in there all the time and we have no protection from it i dont like abuse it is wrong it dose play on ppls minds but as soon as you block the abuser they log in with another nick and do it all over again and for no reason they abuse you and you sit there and take it becoz just of the off chance you might get cought defrnding your self and get band

ive cursed at people times before and avoided the bleep, been caught, never been banned for it, by multiple mods.

oh and do u mind answering my other question about the guy resetting his points right in front of you and all he got was a demerit? when i did the same i got 5 days ban. :|

i have been a op a mod in  many chat rooms mods or ops as people know them as should not be banning people for fun just becoz they are bord it dose not look good in fod eyes it is wrong an not moral 

i have seen a lot of people write in this forum asking why they were banned and there has not been any real answers to the person that was banned it leaves them saying they were banned for no reason if there was a reason i would like to know what it is if i was banned and if i was a mod here i would give the player that i banned the reason and not ban for fun there are to sides to every argument and fight that happens and both sides need to be heard

What you don't seem to understand is that moderators won't give their reasons for banning someone out on a public forum. The only way to find out how you got banned is to e-mail moderator@flyordie.com. Although moderators have sometimes reacted harshly, I know for a fact that they don't ban people 'for fun'. Would you like to be accussed of something without any proof? No? Neither do the moderators.

and as i have had many years at being a op or mod as you call it i never once told a person why they were banned for the hole of the room to know about

i was op in icq and msn for many years and never did anyone find out why i banned another player back then it was the ops email that the player got incontact with 

AT NO STAGE HAVE I ACCUSED any op or mod on fod about banning manners i simply said THAT ANY MOD OR OP should not ban someone for fun becoz they are bord

if there is a mod banning people for fun then NBK Crazy is saying that we have to live with it to me that is wrong 

as a mod or op you as the OP or MOD has to be better than that of the players that fight argue and abuse other players and the site has accepted the ap you put in to become a mod or op they will only accept if they belive you are responsible 

if other players are saying that mods are baning other players for fun and i read it  it dose not make me the accuser it make me only want to make a statement

People with a history of getting caught cursing etc at people will be dealt with more harshly....progressively harsher in fact until in the end their nickname gets permanently banned (whether or not it is subscribed)

now, i'm definitely not "the right person in fod"... but i can shed a little light on the situation, i believe.  in the mod ap, i'm pretty sure it states some general guidelines... that you are of the age of majority where you live (18 or 21 in most places), that you have been playing for at least a year (or at least i'm pretty sure i remember hearing this somewhere... note that i didn't say subbed for a year), and that you have a clean record (or at least can justify any blemishes in your record... and that doesn't mean saying "oh, i had a bad day").

i've looked through the mod ap, and have considered applying (i'm a larkinor player), but just haven't yet.  but there's also stuff in the ap about what time zone you're in, and what times of day you're online, and what game(s) you play in fod.  i'm sure if most of that completely overlaps the majority of existing mods, you probably don't stand much chance.

and the final thing i have to say... if you don't like how something's going on in reversi (or any other fod game you're playing), particularly in chat... take a screen capture, save the file, and send it to moderator@flyordie.com and someone there will deal with the person, if need be.  it might be a few hours delayed, but it will get done.  then if you realize they're evading demerits/bans by signing in with other accounts and doing the same thing, get another screen shot of them saying they're the same person, and send that in... as has been said in this thread already, the more times someone gets caught, the worse the punishments get.

i cant accuse them of being unfair there is no mod ever in reversi to complain about lol :)

there are plenty of players that go to reversi that are abusers of other players in there and the fun part is they go to other games were there are mods and that player from reversi starts to abuse other players that are trying to aviod the rude player from reversi 
the abuser gets cought and gets banned NOW thats fun 
becoause after they have been baned and they come back 
they want other players to feel sorry for them

if you have been baned for a valid reason wake up you did something wrong

i dont think a mod would ban someone for fun in fod
think about what you have said you may have bleeped at someone and didnt remember it 

there are children that enter the fod games to play and some of them are well un controled with their mouths 
and other players that say to you im only 10
the only fool that there is the the adult that bites back and abuses the so called child for abuseing them in the first place 

the adult should know better the children well i would be askin were ther mum and dad is 

be bad get baned be good and the bad person will get cought in the end 

i am in australia when most mods are a sleep i am awake 
also i am well over the age of 18 and i have a clean record 
as far as me getting abused i use block mode on the players that tend to abuse myself and other players 
it works and if they change there nick so what they come bouncing right back and start to abuse so i block them again 

i know about the screen capture but i dont intend to run to a mod every time there is a sore loser in the room that wants to abuse me if other players want to do it then fine if i cant handle the way i am being abused then i will use the capture BUT as i have read in here from many mods BLOCK them 
blocking the abuser makes them look like a fool coz they still rant and rav on every one else can see it but me 
i have a tough skin and the only one being hurt is the abuser it hurts them more when you block them 

my point is that a mod is needed in reversi and time factor has nothing to do with it coz they would not ask you were you from or time zone if it matterd
