Why must the player with the higher points lose points if its a draw, many of the players with less points know this, and play for a draw once there chance of a win has gone.

In Checkers, the automatic draw does not take points away from either side, or if it is a Stalemate after the 20 moves are up in Chess. In Reversi if both sides equals 32 nothing will happen. Only if a Draw is offered will someone lose points. Usually it's just like one or two. But unless your like, 500 to 2, then you will lose quite a bit.
I, likewise am tired of the players who are losing and stall the game until the time runs almost out and then moves on last tick of clock. Which causes you to lose game. Can't we have an honest game of checkers ?
