as a long term player on fod, like many others i am completely fed up with the abusive fools that frequent these fine gaming rooms. if fod have the ability to set up a buddy system so you can see when other decent players are online, how about setting up an abusive player system so that at least we only have to suffer them once. i know you can mute people but that only lasts until you log out, problem is there are so many fools come here its impossible to remember them all. if it was like the buddy system, it would make gaming here a lot more tolerable. ®ø¤º°дКд°º¤ø®

If your subbed the mute lasts forever...and I love it...though you say you have the ability to choose buddy's therefore you should have the luxory of perm mute?

Your mute button will 'reset' when using the web version of pool each time you delete cookies and temp internet files ect, and when using the download version the mute will come of next time you have to re-install pool to your pc.. i think.

However good an attitude that might be, he has a very good point. Why doesn't the mute stick? It really should and it would be good to see it. Then again, if this was the case, half of 8-ball would be on permanent mute.
As Allders said the mute does stick on PC game, I did not know it didn't on web browser...but I mute people all the time and they stay muted until I decide differently.
yes the mute button dose stick on but one big problem they work out you have blocked them and they re register another nick just so they can do it all over again so in the end you have a lot of red spots on your players list but in the end i dont think all those red dots matter i think what dose matter is that due to the abuse there are players that wont return to play any more or they are thinking why do i bother i get abused im not going back there
the mute facility is cookie based. If you delete the relevant cookie, then the muted list will be deleted with it
