Why nobody see that's the problem playing in chess in flyordie?

This is actually the reason why I don't like playing at flyordie. I only play with white if I got lucky, because those who play with white never play the second game. It's a really obvious problem of the system here.

Also, it's more than proved that the player that makes the first move has a great advantage in chess. Anyone with average knowledge of chess know that.

Somewhat true, the one who moves first can create a tighter offense. The one who moves second can creat a tighter defense.

If White makes a defensive move, Black should make an offensive to keep white defending. It all depends how skilled the person is at setting others up really.

as long as black plays good defense, he maintains the balance.. somewhat even in my opinion.. as for me, i love playing black.. its a challenge.

Those are indeed good points. But I'm talking about real facts. There are data from chess player's showing that the greatest chess players almost never loose playing with white. There are indeed a "real" advantage determinated by luck.

Of course most of us are just here for fun, but to, I don't think it is not appropriate for a chess game. Although I see that no one seems to read this threads anyway.

perivaldo i understand your problem, but in chess the luck does not exist, you have to enjoy the game , if you play with black or white, doesnt matter. i like to play revanche many times, but i cant, or sometimes i dont accepts the revanche because i have to go or just tired. the important thing is not the points or the stupid people thats use programs, the important is that you enjoy the game, and play better day after day.

Um, it's proven they have a better offence then defence. And if they move second they can create a better defense then offense, it's "standard" chess play. Someone who moves first against a new opponent does not know their strategy, so it's best to move offencively. And now, if you move second you got an idea of what they might be thinking, so you move defencively. If your not a person who likes to play fast games, you love to go second. I can garuntee that it's just the newbies to the game that don't play second.

And Grand Master will just shurg it off and play.

Sometimes I prefer to play black against my oponnents but if the games automaticaly get turned into 2 games then the time which it takes to play on this site is doubled and if you win out of sheer lapses of concentration from the enemy you would not want to play a second game.

Usualy when I play I have to leave quickly and two games is a no no for me.

I don't think chess is a game to be played in a hury. And of course a grand master or a great player will play with black. But unfortunately it's only few cases. I don't like to play in flyordie because I can only play with white if I got lucky in the first game. No one play the second game with black. I'm sorry to say this, but it's kind of a stupid system that we have to be lucky in order to play with white.

luck has nothing to do with chess but if you are just picky about which colour you get then do a dance.

i agree with Perivaldo.
i think 2 games are appropriate.
it should be some kind of not-written chess bontone-one with white,one with black.but it should stay only 'non-written',because for some players 20 minutes is too long to stay.but players who could stay,should give a chance to their opponent with different colours.

At least a "2 game option" because it's boring that everytime, no matter winning or losing, if I get the black in the first game ther will not be the second game. And it's not because they don't have time to play another games, because winning or losing, they end the game with me and will play with another one hoping to get white again. It's really a sad system.
