What is the Future of Chess
Hi my fellow chess fans, lovers, etc.

As you all know Chess Programs have started beating the best of us, the Grandmasters that is, the likes of Michael Adams(which was a tragedy he lost 5.5-.5 againts Hydra)maybe Kasparov but it seems that his argument that IBM cheated in his rematch against deep blue might true (1997). It is only a matter of time (years) that there will be a computer that will be unstoppable in beating us all.
As also want to tell you about the game checkers which is also a popular strategic game. Sadly, A computer programmer/s developed an algorithim that enabled a computer to win everytime, These "killed" checkers.Although there is no very powerful enough computer to calculate the Algorthim in winning chess. this might happen when processors can calculate up to 100^100000000000000000000000.... and number goes on.But when that time come , imagine the compuet found that best opening for winning the game is E4 and this will produce a win if all moves are right based on that algorithim. Will everybody else use E4 openings.
I try to be a Optimistic about these subject, I hope that these algorithim will not be around in my life time.

Chess will always be my No.1 hobby and allows me to test my myself as far as I can. I hope poeple who read this! answer the question "What is the future of chess for you?" in their own opinion.

It won't ruin chess.

Computers that can play chess well are a good thing.

If you dont like them, play a human.
If You are scared that computer program will become unbeatable by human players, that will never happen, atleast until AI (arrtifical inteligence). The people that can beat a computer will always be programmers that programed that chess software couse they know the algoritam writen for it. If you know what computer is "thinking", if you know his next move than atleast you will be able to draw a game with it.
Thanks for you replies guys,
I like Chess computers as analysis teachers not opponents!!
dude if everyone started playing e4 id play something else and own because id now it inside out and the person im playing wouldn't have a clue and like the other guy said just play a human not a computer
