I have tried it many times, retarted many times but it always freezes when i do a certain thing. I go into the desert and collect the 3 mine ups then lay all 50 mines (in one spot). Some explode on me but then when I move away and fire a rocket at the remaining mines the game freezes until i leave the op and I can't start any other games until i close the game completely and login again. Quite strange, try it yourself.

Land, you are horribly wrong about something: mines are VERY useful - you just havn't played that extra year and a half that I have been playing to understand huh ;-) (this isn't my first nickname). Mines uses: 1.) When you're out of ammo and you're retreating if you place mines behind you and an opponent is following you they could possibly hit the mine INSTEAD of you. It works with me - especially in flat battles. 2.) 3 mines in one spot is an instant kill. So if you pick up an energy place 3 mines in that energy spot someone may run into it instead of energy and die. ~andddlay~

what do u mean? if u mean one part of what i wrote about retreating...: it just protects me. try it sometimes wen u run out of ammo and only have mines left :-)
hold up, totally read that wrong LOL. too quick. junior year in highschool (the year that i am in) is hard for me so i can't play too much. however, i will want to play now because i got the disconnection problem fixed w/ the help of some mods *might have been one.* --Thanks unknown mod!--
