Then you would have people dc themselves mate, Im sure i heard Fod were tryin to sort out a way were if you lose connection you can carry on playing...dont ask when though :p

Actually,2 years ago i used to play an online game where if u get dc,ur opponent had the option to wait in the game for 5 minutes(it could be also 10,not sure) for u to come back.If u did come back within the time limit then the game would go on normally,with no points lost.

This solution doesnt sort out the problem totally,but it could be a first step.It does leaves the option to continue or not up to the opponent,but there quite a few sportsmen among as i would like to believe:p

I do play a different game where you get a period of re-connection if you disconnect. It's been suggested here many times that there's something like this done, but all to little effect..

True, but it's also not FlyOrDie's fault.

OPERATOR has already stated that FoD are looking at ways to deal with the disconnection issue.

I never stated he was, i just stated that he can be a bit "iffy" at times :|.. he probably is a sound bloke i'll admit but he doesn't put himself in best of positions sometimes :p
