Mindless click fest?
What are some of the other games that are similar to Lark and do they end up being a mindless click fest also to accomplish things at higher levels?
first of all, i don't even find larkinor as a mindless click fest. i've played over a year, and will be level 40 within a week. larkinor is probably the most mind-consuming game i've played, because there is so much you can do, and different ways to develop, and i want to try to figure it all out. but if for some reason, you have gotten bored, try restarting one or two of your characters, and aim to build a better one, or a different kind. start a new thrill. --jason
i just saw you walking around larkinor, so i checked out your characters. lvl 31, 29, and a few lower ones. but i forgot to check if you've got a boat yet or not and can't find you in larki again. anyway, even if you have been to TA (the other island... designed for fighters above lvl 30), you've barely experienced anything there yet. also, i did notice myself that the high 20's and low 30's were kinda boring. once you get up above 35 or 37 or so, it started getting better. not only is there the challenge of TA, even larki monsters get more fun. armour and weapons are more challenging. monster-dropped items are more rare, so it's more of a challenge to make sure you get what you need. --jason (thinking he's now said all he needs to say)
Nice to see you back, JunieMoon. As Jason says- things can be slow between levels 29 and 32. I see that you have +4 magic but blue cityguards are probably still very difficult to kill. Obviously robbing and stealing don't hold any appeal for you but why not try capturing monsters for repopulation on TA? And have you been to chat? ~Esme
after looking up junie on the toplist, i see 4 conquest... and wonder if esme realizes you need 100 conquest before you can start repopulating monsters. --jason
