It’s the end of an era, I, as a dear friend of Dave’s have been assigned to post a thread dedicated to him and his legacy here on FOD, I have scanned the forum archives and have come up with just a few quotes, anecdotes and topics he posted, I hope you enjoy them. But first he told me to leave you this message: To Flyordiers around the globe, to those sitting at home, to those on park benches, to everyone………….I have beeen here on this site for 7 months now, not long I know, but my stay has made an impact on everyone. I have made people laugh, I have made people cry. But here, from this moment it ends. And to all of you I utter my final words: If I have made one small voice, in the canyon that is FOD, speak out in good spirits of me then my whole campaign has been worthwhile. But now is the time, Im a wanderer anmd the bell has rung on me, my time is up, I have left FOD for good, and all of you must now fly the nest.
