maybe some feature where the break continues and the player cannot leave. But that also brings up the fact they can just disconnect.

Doubt this would be taken into consideration but even after a player leaves the match you can continue your break.

Siple alternatives that maybe should be taken inot consideration.

Yeah, and considering the fact that I know other pool/snooker games have a feature where a run/break would continue if opponent leaves, surely it wouldn't be very difficult for FoD to follow suit?!

Totally agree with you, it angers me sometimes. I have been ran on whilst on 50+ in pro before and when over 100 in lite a few times! most recently in lite when ''ultimate'' left the game when i was on a 85 in lite with 53 left on :@

I've gotta agree with this guy here, its totally unfair and displays a real lack of sportsmanship. Very often Ive been on a big break of 18 or something and they'll leave, its so frustrating!

This is a fair post but I'll treat it with a simple response....If you play someone u know or hardly know, and they run out on you during a possible "big break"..then tough noogies, you really think some of us are gona wait around for someone who may be playing at a snail's pace (YOU PLAYERS KNOW WHO U ARE!) to complete their break...FFS! C'mon ppl! OK, fair enough if it was someone I knew and called a mate, then of course NP...I'd wait there till the end. Stop moaning the rest of you and try to be realistic. BTW the idea that the game should stay open even if the opponent leaves, WILL NEVER HAPPEN. Plus, you players moaning about the same thing in Lite, get a life...a midget smurf with a broken mouse could make a sizeable break in no time at all....IF YOU GONA MOAN, DO IT ABOUT THE PRO GAME, WHICH IS FAR MORE TIME CONSUMING IN CERTAIN FRAMES! B-)

In the real game you cannot concede until it's your turn. If it weren't for disconnections, I might suggest that a points penalty is given here. Unfortunately that could also mean extra penalties for what are already annoying disconnections, and not forgetting Jaswild's point - this is a computer game not a pro sport, and not everyone wants to hang around watching themselves lose.

hows that a good example.  he was a guest lmao and theres a big diffrence between using a new nik or a guest name to using your own.  theres no pressure what so ever on ratings or top 20 listings.  there are rarely people having big breaks on high rated names.

I think by restructuring the point system from low to high, players would be alot less inclined to RUN but until then  runners RUN! It's a sign of bad sporsmanship in most casses , and can cause the game to loose it;s creditability. I ask players I play if they want BO3 or 1, if they don't answser, I play 1, otherwise I always play BO3.
