After the initial pleasantries were exchanged and a brief shake of hands the match got underway. An early surge by Ronnie saw him take a 2-0 lead within 20 minutes. 5 minutes later it was 3-0 to Ronnie, all of which were won in enphatic style. By now Martin was exuding negative body language and words such as "time to go and wake Martin up" did little to restore his fans faith in him. 10 minute interval. Well whatever Martin had for breakfast certainly helped him as a rejuvenated Duffy came out next frame and played a good, solid rack, 3-1 in favour of Ronnie, the game was back on. The next 2 games also went to Duffy, it was now 3-3, the crowd were waking up. Did we have a game on? Did we ever!!!! Then, just as the game was getting interesting, Ronnie disappeared, whether this was pressure, sore eyes, or the fact that his mum wanted him to go shopping with him, it remained a mystery and the match was abandoned at 4-3 to Martin. This will be continued at a later date yet to be confirmed by the two players. The Meister B-)
