I will have to reply with a quote from G. K. Chesterton (1874-1936) - Never give advice unless asked.
Its not that we don't like it, its taht we are WARNING you: this is directly against the rules.
ahem, if we are going by rules and technicalities, he's not technically cheating. rule 2.4 reads as follows: intentionally loosing in favour of your opponent. that's word for word folks. i have no idea what "loosing" is, but it doesn't say losing. rock on lupin!!! fight the man. hahaha i know i'm just playing devil's advocate here, we all know what the rule is supposed to mean, even if someone doesn't check his/her spelling. i personally don't mind this behavior, but if it's against the rules... well, don't be surprised if you get booted. OrdeR when joining Larkinor: 1Create account. 2 Read The rules 3 Also read F.A.Q. 4 Have fun.:)
You forgot 4 Do the Tour 5 memorize the map of larkinor during the tour 6 read the help pages Jaird (It is against the rules to lose in favour of the oponent. But it doesn't say you have to use a weapon in a PVP fight)
too true jaird, my thief/digger/robber hardly ever carries weapons or armor so that he can carry more when digging. this character consequently has a very low fame point rating... but he's rich.
I suppose I could make a new post for this question, but, honestly now, aren't we all just replying because Lupin asked us not to?! On a related note, is it okay to initiate a fight or, in chat, arrange for someone to initiate a fight with you that you have no chance of winning? Is that called "intentionally losing"? Where is the line in the sand? Some of my characters have next to no chance of winning even against characters that do 1/5 of the damage. Does this mean I'm not allowed to PvP? Sandy
No sandy I think the line is drawn when you intend to lose against someone by arranging it prior to battle, for the purpose of a large amount of exp or famepoints.
Demon is correct. If you are found to be arranging PvP with the specific intention of boosting xp and/or fame then you may find that: your clicks are reduced, your fame points adjusted, your chars are locked out. Your account is banned. Depending on the severity of the incidents, you could find yourself with any combination of the above.
