I posted a couple of days ago and never got a response. The subject was banking. If someone could take the time to explane to me what the advantage of banking is I'd appreciate it. I under what and how its done .Just not why. One last thing. In coming fire has the right of way.

Banking is cheating. It is when sombody gives you points not just when you give them away. There is no advantage. Unless you call being banned from the site a good thing ;\ Snipe

There is no advantage to banking. Banking is when somone enters or lures another player who is usually new, and could never match with this somone into a rated operation; therefore, losing numorous times to this person, practically giving points away. Banking is usually done by somone who can not get points on their own, so they do this. This is a pretty pethetic excuss for points. People who do it, and seen being done by other players, usually ends up with a pretty bad reputaion. Once again.
There is NO advantage to banking.
OK thanks but I still don't get why someone would want to give away points. Dont most people want to accumulate as many as possable. Why would you want someone else to have your points.
Is it so they can get into a higher rated game? [this just occured to me] I guess that would be an advantage if you teamed with that person. The gears are turning slowly. Am I getting close?
The main problem of early bankers is that even they gain a lot of points from new players, when they enter the arena with big leaguers who has earned their points via true fighting on equal basis, these specimens of warriors are smashed at once by experienced ones, maybe is a matter of status for the inmature, just to brag for a while about their "rank"...as we say in my country... They are Queen or King for a day....just puffed dreams.. When faced by rated opponent they come back to reality again...its better to have the points you have earned..even not many..but real.
