does billiards take away points

ive noticed that in chess, if you do not play in over one full 24 hour period, depending on your ranking, it will take at least 1 point away from you, and will continue to do so for each consecutive 24 hour period. i was wondering if billiards, specifically 9-ball, will do the same, since i have a tendency to get grounded quite often.

I think that in any real rating system points are lost over time. The reason is that the good players are those who show it consistantly. In FOD it ensures that the top players are really the top players and not just someone who once made some points before retiring the username. 

Keep it this way please FOD, you've got it right.
