Hi Dark Nebula, if you're a beginner, you might want to try checking out
http://playgo.to/iwtg/
Its a good website to introduce the rules and some simple strategies.
After checking that out you might want to try out Goproblems.com as well, but that's after you learn the rules.
Also don't feel ashamed to come and play a few games even without knowing the rules. There are actually a lot of people at the very beginner stage here and I'm sure just playing around would be helpful. There's a go proverb that says you should lose your first 50 games as soon as possible. Though this is a bit confusing, its basically saying that you shouldn't feel bad about your lack of knowledge about the game. If you play a couple of games without worrying about winning or losing, you'll be able to get a grasp of what is happening. That plus the links I provided should give you a good start. Hope to see you playing some time in the near future :)
If you are interested in more links, just ask, there are dozens of good resources for beginners, I only named off two of the best (in my opinion).
