I have just seen that i have over 18,000 games that i have played which have been stored in the computer I need to get rid of them ,how do I go about it?

If you mean that in your stats you're listed as playing 18,000 games, then unfortunately there's no way to get rid of that number unless you make a new account and start from scratch, but obviously this will mean you will have to use a new username ;)
Download a cleaning program called 'CC Cleaner'. This will clear cookies, temporary files etc etc.
