Can some1 tell me why the buddy button isn't really working? When i click someone then click buddy it goes on then but when I leave and come back it's off of them , can someone tell me why this is happening and how i can fix it?

I've had problems with the buddy list myself, in my case I fiddled around with the cookie settings and all that stuff but it never solved the problem, I've always taken the view that there's probably a limit to the number of people you can have on your buddy list at a single time, I've noticed many times that randomly some people remain on my buddy list yet some people seem to disappear :p
it's probably because you have cookies disabled. if you're on a public computer, you probably can't change that. if it's your computer, it depends what internet browser you use, but it's probably something like the security settings, found in internet tools or options. i'm sure chris or fearn will reply with a much more useful set of instructions... and even mention if my diagnosis is wrong. --jason
