Just to let y'all know that Desiree Annelise came into this world at 3:03 am on Sat. August 11th, 2007 weighing 5 lbs. 1 oz. and measuring 17" long. She is in on a respirator and is still in the NICU as we speak. She is doing well, though, and is expected to come home by week's end. I hope. I am doing okay, just having some trouble with the fact that she couldn't come home with me. I am severely anemic (my count was 8.2) but otherwise in great health. Her sister and 2 brothers are very happy that she is here. The boys haven't gotten to see her yet because they are too young to be in the NICU, but our oldest daughter saw her sister and is thrilled! Thanks all for the warm wishes and keep her in your prayers that she comes home soon. :) ~Danny~
