The way that I see it is if a person with a rating that is really low or really high challenges you and they have "flawless" moves and they take there time in every move including the first 3 then I think it is safe to assume they are cheating. Otherwise I don't see an answer to this problem.

But I also pressume that the majority of people are playing fair and if they're cheating then they must be really low because they don't get much for winning.

Well it's quite obvious if they move really fast they aren't using a program. All programs think, not to mention the time they use to switch screens.

How is it you know people are cheating??

Maybe they're just good at the game. A friend of mine, playing on another site, was sure people were using programs to defeat him, because their moves were very quick and devastating.


I played a few games against him. It turns out he's just really crap at chess.

I had a couple of things go wrong......like when I was winning....I got disconnected, another time my antivirus "found" a virus and disconnected. Any chance this could be a cheat program? It's to bad we have folks that have to do that! Also is there any other time limit besides 20 minutes? I don't like to play that long unless I know the person....to easy to cheat, even using another computer.

I see says the blind man, but may I suggest not telling us the name of the program? Many people will start using it...

hi criss_cross, well at least you are at the level where you can identify if an opponent is cheating. how do you think i feel. ive been playing for years and im still crap at the game bro!!

Most players use programs here. I don't think there is how to solve this.
