thats because the clone was banned.

The screen shots I have of me "saying" what was said, the name appears normal. (can email them if necessary)

But one of the people I know on there said they seen a new name, because it had the ~ icon beside their score, so I got no idea.

Not been on it since that day I don't think. 

someone has cloned your nick , to look like you. 

Have a look in the lobby next time it happens,to see a 

dan   reed , or maybe a , dan reed. or a  .dan reed.

Similar occurance last night too.

Someone in the lobby is somehow be able to send messages, as if I've sent them.

So it comes up as [dan reed:] <message> however it's done, it's showing up as PMs to certain people.

But can you tell me if there were two seperate accounts?

yes it was received, and no you cannot have the information you requested.

Under no cicrumstances will the email address an account is registered to be given to anyone who is not the owner of that account, other than as part of any legal proceedings when the information may be passed directly to the police or relavant authority.
