Although a good idea, I'm not sure what reward would bring back the 'old' people.  I know that I still need about 60 alien whatsitsnames, but that's just me - and I'm (currently) still here.

banne, i see you've only run through 9 of the 10 pub missions.  there is a whatsitsname on the first scientist in the atlantis mission if that is the one you haven't done.  takes 30-35 clicks per whatsitsname if you are click-conscious in colleting from there.  so it would take time, and would not be great for exp/click.  but you could gather the 60 you need from there if atlantis is the one you haven't done.  do note though, that you have to "panic" (and lose half your silvers) each time though, because the door locks on your way in.

i guess my only other suggestion would be to try fighting on TA for a while.  asuming the chances of getting a whatsitsname, given that you've just beat a lvl 42 monster on TA are 1 in 8 (which is what many of us have guessed are the chances, since there are 8 larki lvl 42 monsters), it would probably be "quicker" on TA.  because your probability of getting a lvl 42 on TA (whether on shy, harmless, or whatever like most people fight there) is much greater than if fighting on god-mode on larki (which i asume you do as most high lvl fighters do).  part of it being that you have a lower rank, and part of it because there are no lvl 1-29 monsters on TA you can accidentally run into like you could on larki.  but i also realize you need ingredients from upgrading, so fighting on TA may not be a valid option either.

yeah I think J.174 is right :) I think we should have a chrismas event for larki :) I think we should give them all a present :) for diggers, we give them a diamond shovel, for builders, we price the oreputty, magic nubs, and diamond nails down to half of what they are :) and for stealers we clear all the monsters attacking them, and for fighters, we price better weapons for better prices come on everybody :) it's almost christmas :) so how bout we all vote on it or something? :) because I would realy love that diamond shovel anyway :p

A holiday event is a great idea Jacob! It would not require much work to set up -- as would program change, and it would add some interest to the game. Periodic special events would be great fun!

Considerable thought and effort was put into creating a holidy event or "gift" last year.  Either I've just been unlucky trying to find it the brainstorming thread, or it has been purged to protect the innocent.

There were a large number of creative ideas (however impractical many of them may have been), and the end result was a simple "gift" of bonus clicks.

thats a VERY nice topic and i can keep that in mind but remember there are a reasonable amount of people coming to larki so bonus clicks would be semi out of the question...if not illogical
