Let's add a bit of skill in this game, I say we add the nominate pocket for each object ball feature this way the game has more of a skill element rather than the major luck element it has now...not to mention it's just funner this way anyhow

Call the pocket 8 ball
Let's add a bit of skill in this game, I say we add the nominate pocket for each object ball feature this way the game has more of a skill element rather than the major luck element it has now...not to mention it's just funner this way anyhow
Again your straying from the point at hand, I am sure everyone has fluked and gets fluked on a daily basis...that isn't the point the point is to require some skill to play the game in real life and having the luxury of not really trying on this site...it's a simulation that simulates garbage, anyone can smack the balls around and nab one in...ah forget it just delete this I can already see where most of this site lies down
You have to remember that if someone does "fluke" the 8 ball or any other fluke, that it happens to everyone. I can't imagine anyone saying they havn't fluked one shot in their FOD gaming.
It's not about points, it's about a game that requires skill to play in real life and should require some to play in a virtual setting...I think this would be a great thing for FoD to consider doing, or at the very least calling the 8 ball
ball would still fall, but it would return to opponent as ball in hand...harsh? What do you call watching as your opponent slams each of their balls in of off 8 rails into the side then?
What happens if u called a pocket and it went into another? foul ;\? this would be very harsh:) << If a ball is pocketed in a pocket other than the one called, it remains pocketed but the player loses his/her turn. It is only a foul if the player fails to execute a legal shot, which is: you must contact one of your own balls first and then drive a ball (or cue ball) to a rail, in which case the opposing player is granted ball in hand as usual. >> DD [Edited by: DeputyDawg on Sep 21, 2006 7:46 PM]
