could be your fiewall settings,try turning it off before you log on again, seems the most likely thing,;)

well seeing as my fire wall has now been off a few weeks and it still wont let me play i might consider giving up tanx

The description of your connection problem is so vague that it's doubtful anyone can assist you without knowing more.
Information is key in troubleshooting connection issues..
such as:

(1) what type of connection are you using?
(cable, DSL, dial-up)

(2) what PC operating system are you using?

(3) is your PC behind a network router or 
are you using a "public" computer such as in a Library or school?

These basic pieces of info. are essential in locating the problem.. if you can provide these...the battle is half won..
