just wondering is there a limit of clicks a creature can follow you for? i used to think it was 4 but i seem to be having 800 year old vamps following me for 7 and 8 clicks on occasion.

does it depend on the monster/its level etc or is there just a standard?

fair enough. just wondered if there was a way to prevent getting them as much. it would appear not :)

what factors dicate whether or not a monster will casue a calamity against your character as ive just realised my digger with high luck will hardly ever get paralysed etc... whereas my gighter and mage pretty much get it every other blow. i know i sem to go on about luck a lot but i just think its a little vague so far lol. any chance of luck affecting this though

yeah id say just stick at it for now. characters who kill and sell the rewards start making money in the near 20's which you should get to with your start clicks if your a sub. after that you start getting magician staffs and a few other weps that sell 3-5k a piece :) then its just down to hard work unfortunately. look around for the transfer guide too, a few lower level characters like diggers or robbers can boost the finances of a higher level fighter considerably

what does the amout of diamond nails you receive depend on if anything?

i have long used sandys site as an excellent guide for what to get when i level but one thing really confuses me. the blowpipes?

they have such a low damage comparison to the same ones a few levels down even. they cost about 1.5 mil on the market and the ingredients are expensve...

why are they there. yeah they're magical an vampiric but is it really worht getting them?

ive probably done it a few times but ive learnt from mistakes :)

i remember in another psot concerning luck in combat that your scatter tends to fall at the low end and your enimies at the higher yet most of the time my luck does not get that high to make a visible difference. asi said i heal it when i am paralysed or diseased on occasion so it rarely rises into double figures

and in all fairness my diogger doesnt fight enough to gegt cursed lol, i try an keep my robber outta trouble too.

good point for mages with poison too. forgot they'd most likely have a mana satchel and not a miricle but if they have a subtatoo then again this would mean high level mages dont have to worry about it 

ok i dont know about teh rest of you but i only tend to be bothered about 2 of the 4 calamities. paralysis and to a much lesser extend disease.

poison doesnt actually affect me as i have a miracle satchel and curse quite frankly i dont bother with unless i have one of the other to get rid of.

anyone else agree with me that some of the calamities arent really that efective?

lol i do same with robbing and stealing. if the person is a higher level i dont tend to care, besides the only thing they ever rob are cure pots an mobilidoxins as thats all i ever put in my house lol.

im level 25 with no input from digger or robber yet lol. 1.25 mil is a lot for me trusdt me. together i probably have enough for an antiballast with 300k left over. then i have to wait for someone to buy my composium crossiron so i can nearly get a boat :)

i thought diamond shovels you could get back? oh well. i remember my mate lost an antibaallast :( think he kinda stopped after that though cause 1.25 mils kinda a bit...

i forgot earlier today and managed to lose 11 magician staffs for perrin :( amongst otehr things...

if they are different then maybe its worth it. especailly if theres a few higher lv ones. (by this i mean lvs 30-50 who do the mahjority of fighting on there
