I want to wish everyone at Fly Or Die a Happy Thanksgiving (here in the US) and a great day otherwise.

Who pigged out on turkey and all the fixins as they say?

We had turkey, stuffing, butternut squash, sweet potatoes (yams), cranberry sauce, mushroom gravy, and pumpkin pie for dessert. It was all so yummy, and I am full to the rafters right now. :)

I hope y'all had a great holiday and I hope all my friends here have a pleasant weekend. Our kids are off school until Tuesday...fun.

The best strategy is just to have fun.If you get too much into the "strategy" part of it, you are going to end up miserable and whining and complaining on the Forums about cheaters, "this isn't FAIR" and such. Or you will get demerits or bans and be whining on here that noone respects you and you are INNOCENT I TELL YA.

Can you tell I have been here a long time?

Just have fun and try not to take it all too seriously. :) THAT is my advice.

Wow. I agree with One Sick Puppy. I tried playing my own nick once, and I didn't lose nor gain points because it was the same IP. 

I didn't know there was a way to change your IP! I am on a DSL connection with a static IP address (it is the same no matter how I times I log off and on and when I log on to either computer in our home), I believe, so that is why I don't play my own nicks...though it is kind of fun lol. :) Good points to both posters.

Do you think it has been a good month on Flyordie? Who knows...haven't been on much and what makes a "good" month anyhow? I still hover around 50 points or less on 8-ball!

Have you had any funny moments this month? Not really. I did hit my funny bone off the table yesterday...though that wasn't very funny for me...

Have you achieved anything this month? Yah...I achieved the ability to levitate myself across the country...does burping the alphabet count as an achievement?

WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT: There isn't anything terribly pressing on my mind that I want to discuss here.

Here in Scranton, PA (Northeastern US) it is cold, but it will be getting colder over the next few days and we are getting a little snow here too. 

Our schools delay an hour and a half when the air temp is in the single digits (F), as if that hour an a half makes SO much difference when it is like 5 degrees F out there. Yeah, in that hour and a half, it may get all the way up to...gee, 7 or 8 degrees F lol! The superintendant of the schools is a moron. :D

We didn't get that heavy snow that Washington D.C. and those areas got (it missed us) but we have gotten our fair share of 2 foot snowfalls. :)

Omgoodness where HAVE you been hiding! How is Carly and the family? I don't play much these days (mostly in the afternoon when I do) because the kids keep me busy as a beaver here. :) I am already 18 weeks pregnant now too, so I am slowing down just a bit. :)

Maybe your post will get somewhere, but honestly, I have been here long enough to know that the wheels around here turn VERY slowly and many GREAT ideas get passed over. I sure hope yours is listened to, or at least considered.

I don't get the point of that though. How are subs different from non subs besides the fact that we can put ourselves on do not disturb and away, we can play in tourneys and we get a little tiny star by our names. 

Some non-subs are just as good as some subs and some subs are just as terrible (or...not so skilled, like myself) as non-subs and newbies! 

C'Mon...if anything we need a BO3 Room and a room where you can't move the cue ball past the line on a acratch, and a room where you call your shots. THAT shows real talent and skill and not some idiot who can pot a ball because he or she got to move the cue up to the stupid ball. That is NOT skill people.

And just for the record, I don't give TWO CARES about what y'all might say. That is my opinion and I am sticking to it.
