DoD America Supports You Web Site Links American Public with the Troops


            On Nov. 19, 2004, the Department of Defense launched a nationwide program, “America Supports You,” and new Web site to showcase the many activities
taking place across the nation in support of the troops.  
The Web site, which highlights organizations and individuals coordinating local and national support
efforts, has logged nearly a million hits since its inception.



            Individual citizens, businesses, schools, veterans groups and others
have visited the site

About "Red, White and Blue"

A new song by a former soldier and country music songwriter and performer pays tribute to the men and women in uniform he said sacrifice the comforts of home and their loved ones for the freedoms America enjoys.
 
A Minneapolis-based songwriter known simply as "Rockie" has debuted "Red White and Blue" in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa.

It is such a evil illness that steals away our loved ones...

I have actually made another...very similar to this one but with some effects...like slow motion n fades n such..
(I learned some new tricks with the movie editor...)
but...that one is also a large file...about 15 megs...The challenge is syncing up the song to it..a lot of shuffling and clipping of the video portion..

The version I worked on today has a real nice edit to it I think..slow motion works well with this …

I hope ya'll had a good holiday weekend here in the US 
I found myself fooling around with a movie editing program 
over the weekend, 
you know...one of those silly little projects that are essentially 
worthless... but entertaining :p 

Anyway, I would like to share my creation with the membership, 
it's a QuickTime file, 
about 16 megs in size :O 

so once ya click on the tank pic below, it will take a 
moment to load up and play...so be patent...
it'll playback on it's own once d-loaded..  
it should D-load fairly quickly.... 
for those on a broadband connection anyway... 

No laughing allowed pls...
it's amature hour material I'm sure... 

but.... be sure to crank it up anyway !!!!!!  :D

(I really should find more productive stuff to do with …

yes TANK'r... you are right...the forums were offline for a time yesterday...
Rumor has it that... Neumann..the FlyOrDie dragon...has a bad cold...and sneezed....subsequently breathing a huge flame...
