I've got a Quick Fighter (70 Quickness) that keeps dying and getting sent home when taking the Fighter Road in Mission 48 Dreamland.  I choose the option for quickness (You warm-up, and try to hop over the magic place quickly, to the door.) but he still gets killed. According to the player website larkinorguide.com, there should be no effect with my level of quickness.
ie. Effect:  31 quickness: 6hp left. 52 quickness: no effect. 
 
I tried all other roads but he still gets killed :-(

Am I missing an item or something?
