Hi guys, thanks jivs for creating the forum post with details.

Just a note for all those still looking to participate - you can still register even though the tournament is showing 16/16.

We will figure out a format based on the amount of registered entries on Thursday at 6pm UK time.

Anyone who registers will get playing if they turn up on the evenings of the tournament - Thursday 10th to Sunday 16th from 6pm to around 9-10pm UK, so if you would like to play there will be a space for you.

See you all then,
Jonny

Hi Jivs & FOD-Live,
Sorry for the late notice.
I have recently registered to play in this tournment. Due to the different time zones (4 am for me) and my work commitments I will be sadly unable to play. I wish eveyone playing the best of luck, I know Irish will be looking down watching it all. x

A POEM I WROTE FOR BARRY. this poem will soon be a song.im in the makings of it now. when its completed il will share it you all.

IRISHHOO — NEVER FORGOTTEN

For years and years, he'd log right in,
With a friendly laugh and a welcoming grin.
At FlyOrDie, he'd pick up his cue,
And spend countless hours with friends that he knew.

Everyone knew him as “irishhoo,”
A name that became familiar to me and you.
But behind that screen name, behind every game,
Was Barry, a friend who we'll never forget by name.

When tournaments started, he'd always be there,
Ready to play, with a shot to prepare.
He'd line up his cue and give it his best,
Then share his stories and jokes with the rest.

He always had stories, so many to tell,
Old memories and tales that he knew very well.
He'd make people laugh, he'd brighten the room,
Never knowing how much his friendship would bloom.

Then suddenly one day, he wasn't online,
No “irishhoo” appeared at the usual time.
We logged in expecting to see him once more,
But Barry wasn't there like he'd been before.

The pool tables played and the tournaments ran,
The games carried on just as they began.
But something was missing, something felt wrong—
Someone who'd been there for years was suddenly gone.

Though many of us never met face to face,
Friendship can grow in a wonderful place.
Through screens and through games, through laughter and play,
Barry became part of our lives every day.

And every time now that the pool balls break,
We'll remember the shots that old Barry would take.
When tournaments start and the tables shine bright,
We'll remember irishhoo playing that night.

The chair may be empty, the username gone,
But the memories he gave us keep carrying on.
He'll be sadly missed by so many who knew,
But the friendship he gave us will always stay true.

So here's to Barry, our friend, irishhoo,
And all of the memories he gave me and you.
He left us too soon, but one thing remains:

A friend may leave us, but never completely goes.
They live on in the memories of everyone who knows.

Rest peacefully, Barry.
Our old friend, irishhoo.

You will be sadly missed by many,
but never, ever forgotten.

RIP, OUR OLD FRIEND. 🎱❤️
