Are we going to address the fact that we have players who deliberately sit and wait until their timer runs out only to avoid gammon losses? Has anyone else realized this? It's disgusting.

Hello Madressa, I honestly don't know how we could "address this fact" as not everyone is able to show their best behaviour all the time. I don't find it disgusting, though! However, even if your opponent's Internet connection were interrupted (no matter for what reason), just stay in the game for about one minute until your opponent's nickname is no longer visible. If you do so, the victory will be credited to you by the system automatically. Best regards, John

It's bad sportsmanship for one thing, but if that happens the least you all can do is recognize not only that you won the game, but also to make sure you recognize and credit the winner accordingly when there is no question about whether the game would end in gammon or backgammon, as often this is not the case and only encourages this type of behavior.
