Leaving before conclusion
Hi, just played a 2 end game. Lost a 3 in the first and with my last stone in the 2nd end had a take out to score 4. My opponent left before the stones settled but clear 4 were staying in the house. The system said my opponent had left, which is fair enough having lost a 4, but it only gave me a score of 2 and I lost??

Any help to avoid in future (apart from losing a 3 in the first!) appreciated.
i am afraid there is nothing you can do about this silly rule, by default if a player leaves you get 2 points, so in your game of 2 ends you lost because of this rule. your opponent probably knew this so it bad sportsmanship on his behalf. Fod needs to change the rules so if a player leaves they forfeit the game, in real curling this rule applies. My advice for you in the meantime is to stay away from 2 end games and play 4 end games instead. it would also be nice to have a shake hands option to leave the game when you have no chance of winning.

We all hate that but that’s the rules I’m afraid.
