Hi, if you don't play everyday, your rating loses points I believe. 

Yes! It happend to me too..i was away 2 years with over 300 points.. and when i came back i had 0:(

How many points do you lose for each day you are away?

I believe it's usually 2 or 3 points per day depending on how high your rating is.

its one point per day, if you have a low rating and more if you have a high rating, a couple years ago I asked to know exact amount on here and was told "not to worry about points and just play the game", I wasn't "worried" about points, I was just curious as to what was going on. Hope this helps you some, at least.
