Disconnection
I don't think you should count disconnections as losses because sometimes the internet connection can be very bad and it's frustrating when the the disconnection is counted as a loss even though you might have been winning.
on the other hand, who really cares about meaningless wins and loses?
meaningless?
i care very much, more than you will ever know.
I thoroughly agree with Lily-chan.

I have just been playing a game.

My opponent had killed 3 of my pieces.

I had killed 40 of his.

Connection failed when it was my turn....so I lost.

Most unfair!
It may not seem fair, but if it didn't count as a loss than people would take advantage of it and disconnect every time they were losing. You could say people wouldn't do that because points don't matter etc, but look at players like o'ellinos and it becomes obvious that that's exactly how it would turn out.
well said joeb331! or should i say junaid23
@joethepro55, since I've supposedly already admitted to being junaid23 (

I don't understand the point of restating it here... That is, unless you are trying to convince someone...

Instead of posting pointlessly in the forums, why don't you try playing a few games of go? I see you still have no game record. It really is a fun game and it might give you something constructive to do with all of this free-time you have.
joeb331/junaid23 as the case may be, according to joethepro55.. how does one win the game 'Go'?, i am confused muchly.
Several people have multiple accounts on this site. If you feel the need to address me just call me joeb331. I would rather that than joeb331/all the other accounts that are me (or the ones that aren't).

http://playgo.to/iwtg/
is a good site to learn the rules
sorry but i found that explanation just as confusing as the game. but thankyou joeb331 for posting it for me :)
It's really quite simple, pigeon:

The party of the first part shall hereby be known as the party of the first part.
The party of the second part shall hereby be known as the party of the second part.
Etc.
Don't even ask about the sanity clause...
thank you for trying to help. but i still do not understand
@pigeons, you could try
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gECcsSeRcNo&feature=related
, but if the iwtg site didn't make any sense to you than I'm not sure that this would give you any more clarity. You could always try the wikipedia page or google "go board game" or "baduk".
@Pigeon: You need to watch the Marx Brothers movie: "A Night at the Opera". Then all will be clear.
