"You need to approve by a moderator" My opinion is this forum needs a new update. However this idea of by approving a moderator ins't keeping forum around. Not lot of people posting because it's need to be approve. Why not try without approve and if people break rules, then they get ban for couple days or longer. I mean flyordie, don't you want people to be more loyal in this site? Don't we all ? Just giving you great idea :)

The reason the approval system works is so that we can prevent the forum being flooded with spam & abuse. If we was to remove the approval system.. we would probably have to go throught the forum more often removing in-appropriate comments etc. ThUnDeR FlyOrDie Moderator
Thunder, I believe the only way is to make it happen is to update the forums... That's why I am offering the idea so flyordie can update the forums and plus if people break rules or whatsoever, they can get banned, and possible longer. If we can't come up an idea, how we suppose to keep forum more touchable? Option B is to maybe create our own forums and let people comment whatever they want..

The forum, to me, looks dead and buried apart from maybe the Curling forum which has increased usage due to it being a fairly recent and popular game. I would love to be proved wrong but if the approval system was removed I can't see there being a flood of insulting posts suddenly turning up. It would be nice to see some modification to the system in which people have a "test" period they have to get through before they can post without posts being moderated :) But I feel like I'm singing the same tune as always. In reality nothing will likely happen, this topic will die and we'll probably have the same discussion next year, so see you there :D
Only way to make forum active is to update the forums and no moderator approve, that's only way to keep the forum active...
